Ghanaian teen sensation Edmund Addo shined in Moldova champions FC Sheriff Tiraspol champions league match against Dinamo Zagreb at home on Tuesday evening in the UEFA Champions League playoffs first leg.
The former FC Senica player starred in his team’s victory over the Croatia giant to have one leg in the group stage ahead of the second leg in Croatia next week.
Addo played 87 minutes of the match and controlled the midfield and allowed his team mates to play forward thinking football throughout the game.
Adama Traore scored on the stroke of half time to give the Yellow and Blues a deserving lead due to their fast attacking play in the opening half.
Dimitris Kolovos made it 2-0 nine minutes after the break before Traore grabbed his brace to give the home team a comfortable 3-0 home win ahead of the second leg 10 minutes from time.

The 21-year-old Ghanaian box-to-box midfielder has featured in all UEFA Champions League elimination games for Sheriff since his move to the club.
Addo may be considered by Ghana coach CK Akonnor if he’s able to help his side secure a famous UEFA Champions League qualification.
