Ghanaian winger Yaw Yeboah came off the bench to score his debut goal for Los Angeles FC in their emphatic 4-0 win over Seattle Sounders in Major League Soccer on Thursday morning.
The 26-year-old, who joined LAFC at the beginning of the 2025 season from Columbus Crew, replaced Frankie Amaya in the 82nd minute. Just four minutes later, he found the back of the net, making an immediate impact.
Yeboah was set up by Olivier Giroud inside the box. He cleverly shifted the ball onto his weaker foot, beat his defender, and slotted in a fine finish to cap off a dominant display from the home side at BMO Stadium.
LAFC took control of the match early on, with Cengiz Ünder opening the scoring in the first half. After the break, Jeremy Ebobisse doubled the lead before Denis Bouanga made it 3-0 with ten minutes left on the clock.
Yeboah’s goal in the 86th minute sealed the commanding victory for LAFC, who continue their strong form in the Western Conference.
So far, Yeboah has made seven appearances for the club and now has his first goal to celebrate in the black and gold jersey.
