Ghana head coach Otto Addo has urged his players to deliver a flawless performance as they prepare for their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Madagascar tonight.
The Black Stars will take on the Barea at the Al Hoceima Grand Stadium in Morocco for their Matchday 6 encounter, aiming to strengthen their grip on the top spot in Group I.
Speaking ahead of the game, Addo emphasized the need for total focus following Ghana’s dominant 5-0 victory over Chad in Accra last Friday.
“I know everybody is excited and happy about our last win, but we still have a long way to go, and we need everyone to stay sharp,” the 49-year-old told the GFA media.
“We don’t need 98 percent, we don’t need 99 percent—we need 100 percent. This is like a small final, and if we win, then we are really close to qualification, but it’s going to be a very tough match,” he added.
Kickoff is scheduled for 19:00 GMT.
Ghana currently lead Group I with 12 points and will look to extend their advantage with a victory as they push for a fifth FIFA World Cup appearance in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
