Asante Kotoko take on Elmina Sharks in an outstanding Ghana Premier League fixture and interim head coach of the Porcupine Warriors Johnson Smith has called for unbiased refereeing.
“All that we want is fair officiating. If we get fair officiating we we will surely win the game” Smith said ahead of the game on Friday evening.
“We know that if we win our two outstanding game we will take over the top spot on the league table and so we are determined to win these games.” he added.
Kotoko are currently placed 6th on 24 points – thus four more points adrift leaders of the league Karela United.
Meanwhile Elmina Sharks will be playing their first game under new coach Odartey Lamptey following the departure of Yaw Acheampong.
