Public Relations Officer (PRO) for Karela United, Samuel Enyan has debunked reports that their outfit have formally signed Emmanuel Osei Baffuor from Ashanti Gold SC.
There have been rife media reports that the newly promoted Ghana Premier League side has officially secured the signature of Ashgold playmaker on a free transfer but Samuel Enyan says they are yet to officially put pen on paper with the youngster ahead of the 2017/2018 season.
“Officially, we have not completed the signing of Emmanuel Osei Baffuor but he was recommended so we are assessing him” said Samuel Enyan, in an interview with footballmadeinGhana.com
According to him the deal is almost 80% completed.
“We’ve approached him and talks are ongoing, I can tell you it is about 80 per cent done. We are now trying to look at other things before we confirm the deal officially”.
