Asante Kotoko striker Albert Amoah has expressed heartfelt gratitude after a remarkable debut campaign in the famous Krobea jersey, hailing the 2024/25 season as a journey of resilience, growth, and triumph.
In a message shared on social media, the 21-year-old forward reflected on the highs and lows of his first season with the Porcupine Warriors, which ended with FA Cup glory and a strong individual performance in the league.
“What a season Where do I start, what should I say? Through the ups and downs, we survived,” Amoah wrote. “First season in the Krobea jersey… 12 goals in the Premier League, 3 MVPs, Player of the Month (October), 3 goals in the FA Cup and a trophy. I am one of them God has shown mercy to.”
Amoah played a crucial role in Kotoko’s campaign, scoring 12 goals in the Ghana Premier League and netting three times in the MTN FA Cup, helping the club lift its 10th FA Cup title after a 2-1 win over Golden Kick in the final.
The young striker’s consistent performances also earned him three Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards and the October Player of the Month accolade, underlining his emergence as one of the brightest attacking talents in the domestic league.
“We came, saw and conquered,” he added. “Thank you all for the support. We made this together. May we all be great. We go again.”
With Kotoko set to return to continental football in the CAF Confederation Cup next season, Albert Amoah is expected to be a key figure in their quest for success on the African stage.
