Ghanaian forward Michael Folivi was on the scoresheet for Colchester United in their 2-0 win over Southend United in the English League Two on Tuesday night.
Two nice goals in the first half from Michael Folivi and Harry Pell ensured Colchester United earned a valuable win at the expense of Essex rivals Southend United in the penultimate home game of the season.
Folivi tapped in from close range following in from Harry Pell’s effort to set the U’s on their way before Harry Pell sealed it with a powerful volley that was unstoppable.
Hayden Mullins was afforded the luxury of being able to name an unchanged starting eleven from the side that won 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.

Colchester United were dangerous, and were perhaps a little unlucky not to have a spot kick ten minutes into the second period.
Michael Folivi went down in the area under the challenge from Hobson, but the referee gave a free kick to the Shrimpers.
Unfortunately, Michael Folivi was unable to continue after the challenge and had to be replaced by Jevani Brown.
Meanwhile, his compatriots Brendan Wiredu Sarpong started and lasted the entire duration of the match but Kwame Opoku was not named in the matchday squad.
Colchester now move up to twenty-first, moving above Barrow on forty-seven points.
