Ghanaian-born American Striker, Emmanuel Afriyie Sabbi scored his first goal of the season for OB Odense against FC Nordsjælland in the Danish top-flight league on Sunday afternoon.
The 22-year-old forward netted the equalizing goal for the host two minutes after going behind to Isaac Atanga’s strike to restore parity for the home team.
The end-to-end full of pace, power and entertainment-filled match failed to produce a goal in the first half as both teams headed to the dressing room thinking of how to break the opposition defense in the second half.
10 minutes after recess, the Tigers drew first blood through a nice finish from Ghanaian youngster Isaac Atanga to put the visitors 1 – 0 up.
With few supporters allowed into the stadium, the home team was cheered by the fans and responded in a style when the Ghanaian forward, Sabbi grabbed the equalizer for the host two minutes after Nordsjaelland took the lead.
