Danish club Vendsyssel FF has expressed its commitment to nurturing the talent of Ghanaian teenager Akwasi Owusu, following his recent signing.
Owusu, a highly-rated young midfielder, penned a one-year deal with the Danish 2nd Division side on Thursday, July 31.
Speaking on the club’s official website, Sporting Director Jens Hammer Sorensen praised the player’s potential and outlined the club’s intentions to support his growth.
“Akwasi is a promising young midfielder,” Sorensen said. “We’re excited to help him develop and reach his full potential while wearing the white jersey of Vendsyssel FF.”
The club views the acquisition as part of a broader effort to invest in youth and build a dynamic squad for the future.
Owusu, in his first remarks as a Vendsyssel player, expressed enthusiasm about the opportunity.
“I’m very happy to be here,” he said. “I want to contribute positively and help the team push for top positions this season. I’m looking forward to working hard and giving the fans something to cheer about.”
The midfielder is expected to begin training immediately as he adapts to life in Danish football.
