Former Black Stars assistant coach Ibrahim Tanko has urged Otto Addo to use Mohammed Kudus as a striker.
Kudus has been used as a false 9 by Ajax this season, scoring six goals in nine matches so far and earning plaudits from many.
Tanko believes it is time to allow Kudus to spearhead the Black Stars attack.
“Kudus is a very talented player. He can play in many positions. If you pair him with a holding midfielder, he can play as a no 8 and a striker,” he told Joy Sports.
“The technical team has a plan so let’s hope that all the boys stay fit so the technical team will have options to select from. It’s one of the options the technical team can look at.”
Kudus is expected to play in Ghana’s friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua.
