Algerian midfielder Ramiz Zerrouki lasted the entire 90 minutes for Feyenoord in their 2-1 defeat to Celtic in Scotland. Gambian international Yankuba Minteh equalised in the 82nd minute for the Dutch side but couldn’t hold on for a draw as Celtic snatched a late winner in the 91st minute.
Group F
Ramiz Bensabaini of Algeria played 90 minutes for Dortmund in their 1-1 draw against PSG in Germany. Sebastien Haller of Ivory Coast replaced Fullkrug in the 81st minute. Achraf Hakimi of Morocco played 90 minutes for PSG.
Yunus Musah was replaced by Nigerian forward Samuel Chukueze in the 83rd minute as the Nigerian grabbed the winner for Milan in the 84th minute with his first touch. 18-year-old young Ivorian forward Chaka Traore was an unused substitute for AC Milan.

Crvena Zvezda had 7 Africans in their squad against Manchester City in their 3-2 defeat at home against the defending champions. Nasser Djiga (Burkina Faso), Osman Bukari (Ghana), Guelor Kanga (Gabon), Cherif Ndiaye (Senegal) and Peter Olayinka all started. Kings Kangwa (Zambia) and Jean-Phillipe Krasso (Ivory Coas) were an unused substitute. Osman Bukari assisted Hwang In-Beom to pull one back when Crvena Zvezda were two goals down.
Young Boys Bern had 8 Africans on their list with Ebeima Colley (Zambia), Meshack Elia (DR Congo), Saidy Janko (The Gambia), Cheikh Niasse (Senegal) and Jean-Pierre Nsane (Cameroon) all starting in their 2-1 away defeat in Germany to RB Leipzig. Congolese forward Silvere Ganvoula replaced Nsame in the 62nd minute. Ebrima Colley was assisted by Nsame to level the score 1-1 early in the second half for Young Boys but went ahead to lose 2-1.
Malian midfielder Amadou Haidara was not given a minute from the bench for RB Leipzig.

Nigerian duo Chidera Ejuke (forward) and Alhassan Yusuf started Antwerp’s 3-2 win over Barcelona. Yusuf Ahmed assisted Vincent Janssen to restore Antwerp’s lead to 2-1 in the 56th minute. Kobe Corbanie replaced Ejuke in the 79th minute.
Nigerian left-back Zaidu Sanusi played the whole 90 minutes for FC Porto in their 5-3 win against Shakhtar Donetsk.
