One of Ghana’s contingent in the UEFA Champions League, Edmund Addo and his side Sheriff Tiraspol have been drawn in Group D of the tournament.
Sheriff finds themselves in a really difficult situation after being drawn against Inter Milan, Real Madrid and Shakhtar Donetsk.
Addo, 21, was involved in the club’s qualification games from the preliminary stages, advancing past Alashkert, Red Star Belgrade and Dinamo Zagreb.
The Ghanaian youngster joined the club earlier this summer ahead of the start of the 2021/22 season.
Edmund Addo plays as part of a double pivot in the middle of the park and can also operate as makeshift central defender or a right-back.
The 21-year-old will be one of three players who will hoist the flag of Ghana in this season’s biggest European club competition.
