In preparation for the crucial qualifiers against Senegal for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in 2024, Coach Yussif Basigi, the head coach of the Ghana Women’s U20 national team, is actively gearing up.
To secure qualification to the tournament in Columbia next year, Ghana must overcome Senegal in this important tie.
In anticipation of the upcoming challenge, Coach Yussif Basigi has extended invitations to 34 players, who will commence their training camp on Monday, December 18, at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence.
Notably, Salamatu Abdulai of Swieqi FC Matta and Jennifer Owusuwaa of Ampem Darkoa have earned well-deserved spots in the squad.
Should Ghana successfully qualify for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in 2024, it will mark the nation’s seventh consecutive appearance at this prestigious biennial tournament.
