The draw for the TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations Côte d’Ivoire 2025, scheduled to take place from April 26 to May 18, promises an electrifying tournament with captivating matchups across all three groups.
Traditional powerhouses Senegal, Nigeria, and Morocco are poised to contend for the top prize. Meanwhile, Ghana has been drawn into a challenging Group, facing hosts Côte d’Ivoire, Dr. Congo, Tanzania, and a fifth nation to be determined from the UNIFFAC qualifiers.

Building on the Black Satellites’ impressive performance in 2024, where they clinched the 13th Africa Games title and finished as runners-up at the WAFU B Championship, the stage is set for another thrilling display. With Coach Desmond at the helm, the team has consistently demonstrated their prowess, and there’s every reason to remain optimistic about their future success.
This edition of the tournament also doubles as the African qualifiers for the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile where teams who reached the semi-finals stage qualified automatically.
