Black Stars assistant Coach Maxwell Konadu, has congratulated Ghana’s Black Maidens as well as the ‘able technical team’ for their impressive 5-0 drubbing of hosts Uruguay on Tuesday night.
The Black Maidens registered their superiority over Uruguay by whipping them massively in their Group A opening game at the Estadio Charrúa in Montevideo courtesy Abdulai Mukarama’s hat-trick and one each from Fuseina Mumuni and substitute Millot Pokuaa.
Konadu, who is satisfied with Coach Adotey and his charges performance against Uruguay took to his official twitter handle to congratulate the team and the playing body for their glittering start to the tournament.
He however, urged them to keep working hard in their quest to lift the ultimate title.
”Congratulations to our black maidens, as well as the able technical team, keep working hard.” Konadu tweeted.
