Obuasi Ashantigold SC strike, Isaac Opoku Agyemang was named Man-Of-The-Match in Ashantigold’s thumping win over King Faisal at the Len Clay Stadium.
The lanky attacker scored twice for his team in their 5-1 emphatic win over the Green and Whites side to help his side secure their second win of the season after four matches.
Opoku Agyemang opened his goal account for the Miners this season when he scored the game’s opening goal in the first half on the 16th minute mark to put the hosts 1-0 up but his goal was canceled out by Kwame Peprah’s after 26 minutes.
After the break, Opoku Agyemang netted his second league goal this campaign to make it 3-1 to the Black and Gold side after David Abagna restored their one goal advantage before the interval.
Yaw Annor scored a late brace to help Ashantigold record the biggest win in the the Ghana Premier League season so far as the match ended 5-1 to the hosts who move to eight points from four matches and remain unbeaten in the league.
The young striker was adjudged the Most Valuable Player of the game after his stunning display and has two goals to his credit in the Ghana Premier League.
