Asante Kotoko take on Inter Allies on Monday afternoon in Dawu as Week 29 of the Ghana Premier League fully completes with this interesting fixture.
It is interesting and a tricky away trip for the Porcupine Warriors because they know that Hearts of Oak have taken a three-point lead at the summit of the league log following a 2-0 win over Medeama and anything less than a win in Dawu would not be desirable.
After 16 defeats in the league and 26 points amassed from possible 84, 18th placed Inter Allies are the worst team of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League and are definitely destined to see the drop.
But that has not prevented Allies from recording some good results. For instance they recently humbled Medeama by 3-0 and destroyed Berekum Chelsea by 5-0. Therefore Kotoko are warned.
Former Kotoko defender Agyeman Badu – now at Inter Allies – is expected to face his former team today.
