Ghana international Mohammed Kudus has bigged up his teammates for his successful first season in the English Premier League.
Kudus joined West Ham United at the start of the season and went on to enjoy a good individual campaign with the Hammers despite their challenges.
The Ghanaian finished the season with a stunning goal in the defeat to Manchester City on the final day to take his tally in the league to eight goals while also grabbing six assists.
While he may not have secured a European place for the club, Kudus is still proud of the efforts of his teammates and says he feels ready for the English top flight.
“Big credit to the manager, he’s done a fantastic job this season. It’s a long season, difficult times, ups and downs. But in all, I give credit to all my teammates,” said Kudus.
“Everyone was on top of their season. Even the guys who are not playing more, playing less, even the guys on the bench, we are all together. There’s a lot of respect and energy from everyone else. So, big credit to the whole team.
“This is just the beginning. I’ve tested the waters now. I’m ready to get it running for the next season.”
Kudus registered 20 goal involvements in his first season with West Ham, scoring 14 goals and providing six assists from 45 appearances across all competitions.
