The Ghana Football Association Disciplinary Committee imposed a five-year ban from all football related activities against Division One side Phar Rangers and their shareholders but the Appeals Committee of the association has set aside the sanction against the Shareholders.
The Appeals Committee said that “the sanctions against the Shareholder of Phar Rangers is without any basis in the Regulations of the Division One League and we hereby set same aside”.
The committee also set aside the five-year ban against the club and replaced it a demotion to the Division Three league in the Eastern Region.
