Brighton Dutch defender Joel Veltman believes youngster Tariq Lamptey is given manager Graham Potter selection headache which is good for the team.
Veltman has been improvising as a right-back when the English-born Ghanaian player was out of action for ten months with injury and now he insists his return is good though it will give the manager selection problems.
“I think that’s a good thing for us and a problem for the gaffer, I would say,”Veltman stated in relations to Lamptey’s return.
“But I think that’s good. In every position we have two good players so everybody has to fight for his position.”
Lamptey was phenomenal on Saturday as he made his first start in Brighton 1-1 draw with Newcastle at the American Express Community Stadium.
