English-born-Ghanaian defender, Tariq Lamptey has likened his style-of-play to that of former Barcelona ace Dani Alves.
Lamptey admitted that he has idolised Alves since his glory days at the La Liga giants and always hoped he could model his game top that of the Brazilian.
The 20-year-old continues to rise to the occasion with Brighton & Hove Albion and is hopeful that he will be able to reach Alves’ level.

“The football they played, I think everyone fell in love with them,” Lamptey said via Sky Sports.
“I loved to watch Dani Alves. He played with so much flair and he is always smiling and enjoying his football.
“That is what I like to think I try to do as well. I try to bring out the fun in the game.
“Whenever I get the chance to attack I look to take it. I do enjoy running at defenders from deep.”
Lamptey is yet to decide as whether to play for England or Ghana at the senior national team level.
