Italy-born Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Gyasi scored the only consolation goal for Spezia in their 3-1 away defeat to Benevento in the Serie B on Saturday.
The 26-year-old registered the lead for Spezia in the 15th minute but they watched the hosts come from behind beat them 3-1 at Stadio Ciro Vigorito.
The goal means Gyasi has now scored three goals in his last three matches for Spezia in the league.
The former Torino Youth team player has now bagged 5 goals in 22 league games.
Gyasi is eligible to play for the Black Stars if only invited head coach CK Akonnor.
