The English Championship club, have sent their goodwill message to the Ghanaian defender who joined the French Ligue 1 side on Tuesday 1st August , 2023.
The club and the Ghanaian international signed a five-year contract on Tuesday, August 1. He will remain in France till June 2028 as per his contract with the Ligue 1 team.
Salisu played for Southampton for three years before transferring to Monaco, but at the end of the 2022–23 season, they were relegated.
He joined Southampton for £10.9 million and has now departed after a successful three-year spell. During his time at the club, Salisu made a total of 80 appearances in all competitions.
Monaco’s pursuit of Salisu intensified after Southampton’s relegation to the Championship, making the move a logical step for the player’s career progression.

”The 24-year-old centre-back departs St Mary’s after three seasons on the south coast, joining the Ligue 1 side ahead of the new campaign.
”In his time with Saints, Salisu – who moved to the club in 2020 from Spanish side Real Valladolid – made 80 appearances and scored once.
