In-form striker for Accra Hearts of Oak SC, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh has credited his coach Samuel Boadu for his recent form.
According to the Black Satellites captain, the former Medeama SC gaffer is the man who has spurred him on to perform for the Rainbow Boys in recent games.
Speaking after Hearts victory over Legon Cities FC on Thursday evening, the Ghana U-20 captain said coach Boadu should be given the plaudit for helping him gain confidence which has affected his general performance.
“Coach Boadu is the reason I’ve been performing in performing well for the team in recent matches in both the Premier League and the FA Cup Competition respectively.”
“He always encourages me to have self-confidence and play without fear and keeps motivating because he always tells me that those playing in Europe are not better than me and I for that matter can do better than them”, he added.
Barnieh was a thorn in the flesh of the defense of the Royals on Thursday and was adjudged Man-Of-The-Match in his team’s 2-1 after picking an assist.
