Nurudeen Amadu, the head coach of Samartex FC, expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance following their 2-1 victory over Aduana Stars on Monday afternoon in the ongoing 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
Samartex FC displayed a commendable performance, securing all three points in their Week 18 encounter of the league.
In his post-match remarks, Coach Nurudeen Amadu attributed the victory to the players’ ability to capitalize on their opportunities.
“Our performance was not bad but we have done the needful. The players did well and we took our chances and so it was a good win for us,” the Samartex FC coach said.
Despite maintaining their position at the top of the Ghana Premier League standings, Coach Nurudeen Amadu emphasized the importance of remaining focused and avoiding complacency.
Acknowledging the team’s current standing, he emphasized the need for continuous hard work and determination in the remaining fixtures of the season.
“I’m feeling good but there’s much work to be done. We still have a long way to go so there is no room for complacency so we need to work hard. Every match is very crucial to us,” Coach Nurudeen Amadu said.
