Eintracht Braunschweig’s Richmond Tachie made an immediate impact in their Bundesliga 2 clash against Preussen Münster, scoring just 60 seconds into the game at Preußen-Stadion.
The German-Ghanaian forward, on loan from Kaiserslautern, capitalized on a precise pass from Sebastian Polter and unleashed a right-footed strike from the right flank to give Braunschweig an early lead. However, their advantage was short-lived, as Münster’s Marc Lorenz converted a penalty in the fourth minute to level the score at 1-1.
Tachie remained a lively presence for 64 minutes before being substituted, taking his season tally to two goals in 16 appearances. Despite Münster controlling 56% of possession and registering 14 shots, they failed to break the deadlock, while Braunschweig’s nine attempts also proved fruitless.
The result maintains the balance in their head-to-head history, with both teams now having one win each and four draws. Braunschweig will turn their focus to their next fixture against Paderborn on April 4 as they aim to climb the Bundesliga 2 standings.
