Richmond Kickers head coach David Bulow has expressed excitement following the signing of Ghanaian youngster Amass Amankona.
The Kickers on Friday announced the signing of the Ghanaian youngster from USL Championship side Indy Eleven for the 2019 season, pending league and federation approval.
His signing has release the excitement of the head of the technical team, saying Amass Amankona has been on his list for a year now but faced challenges in acquiring his signature last season.

“Amass is a player that I tried to sign last season, but it didn’t quite work out,” said Kickers Head Coach David Bulow.
“He is a highly recommended and talented midfielder who has shown great desire to be a part of the new Richmond Kickers Pro team and I can’t wait to start working with him”, he added.
The native of Kumasi, Ghana is coming off the 2018 season with USL Championship side Indy Eleven.
Prior to joining Indy, Amankona played for the Dayton Dutch Lions in USL League Two, where he made 11 appearances.
He was drafted 46th overall at the 2016 MLS SuperDraft by Real Salt Lake. The Ghanaian became a consistent force for the Championship’s Real Monarchs SLC over 26 matches in his rookie season.
