The former Galatasaray, Birmingham City and Wigan Athletic shot-stopper has congratulated Egypt on reaching the World Cup, wishing them all the luck during tournament.
The Pharaohs booked their place in the World Cup for the first time in 27 years after topping their qualifying group, which included Ghana, Uganda and Congo.
”I would like to congratulate all the Egyptians. They deserve to be there and we Ghanaians will support them from the beginning to the end with our prayers and everything,” Kinsgon told ON Sport.
”Me personally, I wish them and I will pray for them to get to the semi-finals or even win the World Cup for all Africans.
”I know it’s difficult but with hard work you can get there. If you believe in yourself and work hard you can do that.
“Ahmed Nagi [Egypt goalkeeping coach] has helped me a lot and I always look forward to working with him,” he concluded.
It’s worth mentioning that Richard Kingson was a key part of the Ghana team that reached the World Cup quarter-finals in 2010, before losing to Uruguay on penalties.
