The technical team and the playing body of Division One League side Bibiani Gold Stars have been forced to contribute GHS10 each to purchase footballs for the club despite being given four balls by the NC, in the ongoing Normalisation Committee Special Competition SportsworldGhana.com’s investigation has established.
Our investigation furthered discovered that, five technical team members and 25 players in total contributed GHS300 to purchase two balls for the club following administrative manager Akwasi Adu’s failure to release funds for the club.
The Bibiani based club is currently facing financial difficulties with head coach Kobinah Amissah threatening to quit his job in the coming days if things remain unchanged.
The club currently sit third in Zone 2A tier-two of the ongoing Normalisation Committee Special Competition with 9 out of 15 points.
