Al-Talaba have tabled a $5000 monthly deal to Asante Kotoko defender Ismail Abdul Ganiyu for his services according to reports.
Ganiyu has been stripped off his captaincy which he held in the previous season in favor of Richard Boadu for the 2022/23 season.
It is believed that he is now surplus to requirements at the Porcupine Warriors and they are looking to move him on as soon as possible according to Kumasi-based Pure FM.
He will become the second Ghanaian player from the top-flight league to join an Iraqi side after Emmanuel Nettey left Hearts of Oak last season to join Kurdistan-based side Duhok if he accepts the terms.
