Dreams FC will be hoping to record their first win of the season on Sunday when they welcome Medeama SC to the Theatre of Dreams at Dawu in a Ghana Premier League match day two game.
Both clubs drew their opening games 1-1 respectively and will be looking forwards to make amends as the season begins to take shape.
Games between the two teams has been keenly contested over the years and out of the four times they have met, Medeama has won twice and drawn one where as Dreams FC boasts of only one win.
Medeama has scored six goals against Dreams and conceded four whilst their counterpart has also banged in four.
The last then they met in a league game at Dawu was on January 19, 2019 when Dreams won 1-0 through an Issah Ibrahim strike but the best game that both teams has played against each other was on May 22, 2016 when Medeama came from two goals down to draw 2-2 at the same venue.
The game on Sunday promises lots of action with the midfield set to be the focal point throughout the entire 90 minutes.
Kwasi Donsu who has netted three of the six goals Medeama has scored against Dreams FC will once again be ready to prove his superiority and would undoubtedly be the man Dreams FC should track.
The likes of Maxwell other and others who are expected to play in the Dreams FC midfield must be at their maximum best in other to stop Donsu.
One player who can also decide the game on his own is Medeama offensive midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah, the talented schemer had a torrid time at Dreams FC and terminated his contract to join Eleven Wonders where he burst into firm before the Mauves signed him. He will be eager to prove a point to his former employers and it could work to the visitors favor.
The Medeama back four should be wary of Joseph Esso and Ali Huzaf in the Dreams FC attack as both are quality materials who can cause havoc on any day.
