King Faisal’s assistant coach, Godwin Ablordey, believes that the team’s survival in the Ghana Premier League rests entirely on their own efforts.
Currently sitting in the relegation zone, occupying the 17th position with 36 points after 30 matches, the Issah Allah club faces a crucial battle to avoid dropping out of the league.
Following their victory over Nsoatreman FC, which secured them a spot in the FA Cup final, Ablordey emphasized that their focus now shifts to the league. He stated that their upcoming game against Samartex is a must-win if they are to escape relegation.
“This is a must-win match for us. If we want to remain in the Premier League, we have to secure a victory against Samartex. It’s a home game, and we are determined to win and maintain our league status. Everything is in our hands, and both the coaching staff and the players are fully committed to working hard and ensuring our survival,” Ablordey stated.
King Faisal is set to face Samartex in week 31 of the Ghana Premier League, where they will strive to secure a crucial victory in their battle against relegation.
