Dream FC talisman, Joseph Esso led his team to a comprehensive win over Obuasi Ashantigold SC in Dawu on Thursday afternoon.
The Impregnable attacker scored his first-ever hat-trick in Ghana’s top-flight to help the Still Believe side to a handsome win at home in week 16 of the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League against the Miners.

Seven minutes into the game, the hosts were awarded quite a controversial penalty kick and the former Hearts of Oak man made no mistake in slotting home the game’s opening goal.

Five minutes into the second half, Esso pounced on a loose ball just inside the box to power home his second goal of the match after poor defending from the visitors to put Dreams FC 2-0 up.

Two minutes later, the budding attacker completed his hat-trick with a free header inside the six-yard box following a corner kick to make it three to the home team after 52 minutes.

Four minutes from full, David Abagna scored a consolation for the away side before Agyenim Boateng scored a free-kick in the 90th-minute mark to make 4-1 to the Green and Whites outfit.

Dreams FC moves to second on the league table after 16 matches with 26 points same as Medeama SC who sit third on the log.
