Executive Chairman of Asante Kotoko Dr. Kwame Kyei invited players and officials of the club to a dinner at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Kumasi on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors have been impressive in the CAF Confederations Cup this season, after reaching the group stages for the first time since 2008.
The Ghanaian giants defeated Zambian champions Zesco United 2-1 last Wednesday to register their first win of the group stages.
Dr. Kwame Kyei during the dinner, took the opportunity to shared some messages of inspiration with them as they prepare to leave Ghana for Zambia to play Nkana FC.
