Former Division One League Board Chairman Lawyer Ntow Fianko says GFA decision to ban Nana Yaw Amponsah’s Phar Rangers and it’s Board of directors as it’s back by law.
Speaking to Accra-based Angel FM, the former DOL boss explained vividly as to why he sees the FA’s decision on Phar Rangers to be a good step in the right direction.
“The ban has come and it’s right because the club officially wrote to withdraw from all FA Competition so their second letter to rescind their decision was if no use.” Lawyer Ntow Fianko told Angel FM in Accra.
“The Disciplinary Committee is just a servant of the law, they are not the law makers so the just act according to what the law state. And I will urged the players to file a petition at the FA for the Player Status Committee to declare them as free agent”, he added.
The Division One League Zone Three side declared the club as a defunct company and missed some games leading to its five years ban by the Ghana Football Association.
