Striker Jordan Ayew was in superlative form as he scored the solitary goal to power Crystal Palace to victory in the English Premier League on Saturday.

Thomas Partey climbed off the bench to score the match-winner for Atletico de Madrid on Sunday evening.

There were goals for Inaki Williams, William Owusu, Eric Ocansey, Majeed Ashimeru, Kudus Mohammed, Eugene Ansah, Patrick Twumasi, John Antwi, Benjamin Asamoah Akoto, Kwame Kizito and Caleb Ekuban in top-flight league across the globe.

Paul Mensah, Ferdinand Takyi netted a brace while Tariq Lamptey, Reagy Ofosu, Albert Adomah, Aaron Opoku, Gabriel Boakye, Richard Boateng, Elvis Amoh, Solomon Asante and Joshua Yaro.

ENGLAND

Austrian international of Ghanaian descent Kevin Danso assisted the equaliser for Southampton when they drew 1-1 with Manchester United in the Premier League on Saturday.

Jordan Ayew scored the solitary goal of the game for Crystal Palace in their 1-0 win over Aston Villa on Saturday. Jeffrey Schlupp also started the game for Palace.

Daniel Amartey is still out with an ankle problem and watched Leicester City’s 3-1 win over Bournemouth on Saturday.

Winger Christian Atsu lasted 82 minutes for Newcastle United in their 1-1 draw with Watford at the St James’ Park.

West Ham United silenced Norwich City 2-0 at the London Stadium and Norway international of Ghanaian descent Alexander Tetteywarmed the bench for the losers.

In the Championship, Swansea City posted a 1-0 win over Leeds United and Ghanaian Eddie Nketiah came off the bench on the 61st minute to play for the losers while Andre Ayew lasted 82 minutes for the winners.

Albert Adomah climbed off the bench to rescue a point for Nottingham Forest in their 1-1 drawn game with Preston North End.

Charlton catapulted themselves to second place on the log after beating Reading 2-0 and Ghanaian defender Andy Yiadom was replaced on the 62nd minute.

Striker Collin Quaner failed to make the Huddersfield Town squad for their 2-1 loss at Luton Town.

In the League One former Crystal Palace player Hiram Boateng was in action for MK Dons in their 2-1 away loss to Accrington Stanley.

Kwesi Appiah started upfront for AFC Wimbledon when they drew 0-0 with Wycombe Wanderers but Michael Folivi was unused.

Burton claimed a 2-0 home win over Bristol Rovers and former Chelsea youth team player Richard Nartey came off the bench to play for the winners while Abumere Ogogo was in action for 9 minutes for the losers.

Tariq Fosu came off the bench in the second-half to play for Oxford United in their 2-2 draw with Coventry City.

Meanwhile in the League Two, Alex Addai was introduced in the second-half by Cheltenham Town who lost 1-0 at Crawley.

Former Stoke City youth team player James Alabi watched from the bench as his Leyton Orient side held Salford to a 1-1 draw.

There was 8 minutes of action for Godfrey Poku in Woking’s 3-2 win over Barrow.

Danish-born Ghanaian Justin Shaibu came off the bench to play the last 8 minutes for Boreham Woods in their 3-1 away win over Chorley.

English-born Ghanaian defender Jerome Opoku was sent off in the first-half of Fulham U23’s 2-1 loss to Newcastle Utd U23 in the Premier League 2. Zico Asare also played for Fulham U23.

Chelsea U23 shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur. English-born talented Ghanaian lateral defender Tariq Lampteyscored the last goal for Chelsea in the game.

Promising goalkeeper Joseph Anang manned the post for West Ham United U23 when they drew 2-2 with Manchester Utd U23.

Former Borussia Dortmund striker Gabriel Kyeremateng didn’t make Stoke City U23 squad for their 4-3 win over Swansea City.

In the U18 Premier League, Harold Essien played in lateral defence for Middlesbrough U18 who lost 4-1 to Derby County U18.

Defender Jarell Quansah warmed the Liverpool U18 bench in their 4-3 win over Manchester United U18.

Manchester City U18 beat Everton U18 3-0 and Ghanaian kid Kwaku Oduroh came off the bench to play for the winners.

West Ham United U18 managed a 3-3 draw with Reading U18 and Ghanaian Lynford Sackey played for Reading while Keenan Appiah-Forson starred for the young Hammers. 16-year-old midfielder Michael Adu was unused by West Ham.

Striker Jed Abbey started in attack for Wolveshampton Wanderers U18 in their 2-0 away win over Sunderland U18.

Striker Enoch Asante was introduced in the 67th minute by Tottenham Hotspur U18 in their 4-0 away win over Swansea City U18.

Defender Paul Appiah came off the bench to play for Aston Villa U18 in their 1-0 loss at Chelsea U18.

FRANCE

Black Stars defender John Boye was in action for 90 minutes for Metz who were beaten 2-0 by visiting Paris Saint-Germain at the Stade Municipal Saint-Symphorien.

France-born Enock Kwateng was in action for 90 minutes for Bordeaux who managed to hold Lyon to a 1-1 draw on Saturday.

Defender Dennis Appiah warmed the bench for Nantes in their 1-0 win over Montpellier.

In the Ligue 2, Brice Tutu came off the bench to play the last 7 minutes for Caen when Le Havre defeated them 3-1. Ghanaian attacker Ebenezer Assifuah was a bench warmer for the winners. Godson Kyeremeh was axed from the Caen squad.

Le Mans claimed a 2-0 win over Sochaux and Ghanaian goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi was unused by the losers.

There was 90 minutes of action for Ghanaian Emmanuel Ntim as he helped Valenciennes to beat Clermont Foot 1-0. 19-year-old Ghanaian midfielder Abdul Samed Salis came off the bench to play for the losers.

GERMANY

Wales international of Ghanaian descent Ethan Ampadu warmed the Red Bull Salzburg bench for their 3-1 away win over Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga.

Bayern Munich destroyed Mainz 05 after hammering them 6-1. Ghana-born Alphonso Alves was named on the Bayern bench while Robin Quaison also warmed the bench for the losers.

At the Volkswagen Arena, Ghanaian Christopher Antwi-Adjei was in action for the entire Paderborn who held Wolfsburg to a 1-1 draw and Ghanaian Philimon Tawiah missed out of the squad with injury.

Eintracht Frankfurt posted a 2-1 win over Fortuna Dusseldorf and Ghanaian Kevin Ofori and Bernard Tekpetey were unused as they warmed the bench but Kasim Nuhu and Nana Ampomah missed the game with injuries.

In the Bundesliga II, Ghanaian Erich Berko came off the bench to play for Darmstadt when they 1-0 against Sandhausen. German-born ex-Hamburg defender Patric Pfeiffer warmed the bench for the losers.

Hans Sarpei Nunoo was in action for Greuther Furth when they held Arminia Bielefeld to a 2-2 drawn game.

Midfielder David Atanga came off the bench in the second-half to play for Holstein Kiel in their 1-1 draw with Aue.

German-born Ghanaian defender Jans Gyamerah was rock solid in lateral defence for Hamburg SV in their 3-0 win over Hannover 96.

Accra-born Ghanaian midfielder Daniel Kofi Kyereh came off the bench to play for Wehen in their 5-0 home loss to Regensburg.

In the Liga 3, Ghana striker Okyere Kwasi Wriedt was in action for Bayern Munich II in their 2-1 home reverse against Unterhaching.

Hamburg SV loanee Aaron Opoku struck the solitary goal for Hansa Rostock when they beat Preussen Munster 1-0.

Midfielder Agyemang Diawusie played for Ingolstadt in their 3-0 away loss to Viktoria Koln.

In the Regionalliga, Ghanaian Gabriel Boakye scored for Koln II in their 4-2 win over Alemannia Aachen.

SPAIN

Spain U21 international of Ghanaian descent Inaki Williams Dannis who is still eligible to represent Ghana scored the opener for Athletic Club de Bilbao when they beat Real Sociedad 2-0. He was replaced on the 86th minute mark.

Meanwhile at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán, Ghana defender Joseph Aidoo was a pillar in defence for Celta de Vigo when they managed to hold Sevilla to a 1-1 draw.

Iddrisu Baba and Lumor Agbenyenu both started and played for Real Mallorca in their 2-0 away loss to Valencia.

Midfielder Thomas Partey came off the bench to score the match winner for Atletico de Madrid in their hard-fought 3-2 win over Eibar.

Wakaso Mubarak was in action for the entire match for Deportivo Alaves in their 1-1 draw with Getafe on Saturday.

In-form defender Mohammed Salisu was in action for Real Valladolid who lost 2-0 against Levante.

In the Segunda Division striker Raphael Dwamena fired blank despite playing 80 minutes for Real Zaragoza in their 1-0 win over Elche.

Richard Boateng scored the opening goal for Alcorcon who thumped Lugo 4-2 on Sunday.

Former Dreams FC midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey was in action for Extremadura UD when they lost 2-1 at Cadiz.

Meanwhile in the Segunda B, Ghana attacker Kwabena Owusu played for Cordoba CF who held Villarrubia to a 0-0 draw on Saturday.

NETHERLANDS

There was no game time for Robin Polley who warmed the ADO Den Haag bench in their 1-0 home win over VVV Venlo. Johnathan Opoku missed the game with injury.

FC Twente posted a 3-1 home win over FC Utrecht on Sunday and Ghanaian attacker Issah Abass played 90 minutes for the losers.

German-born Ghanaian Ragnar Ache was dropped to the Sparta Rotterdam bench as they lost 4-1 against visiting Ajax.

Myron Boadu led the attacking lines for AZ Alkmaar when they suffered a 2-1 loss at Vitesse Arnhem. He played the entire 90 minutes of the game.

Dutch-born Cody Gakpo played 77 minutes for PSV who fought from a goal down to win 3-1 against KRC Waalwijk.

Anderlecht claimed a 1-0 win over Standard Liege and Ghanaian winger Francis Amuzu came off the bench to play for the winners while Derrick Luckassen was unused but teenage sensation Jeremy Doku was axed from the squad.

Gent posted a 3-2 win over Cercle Brugge and Ghanaian duo of Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe and Elisha Owusu both played for Gent while Godfred Donsah came off the bench to play for the losers. Nana Asare didn’t make the Gent squad for the game.

Daniel Opare is still injured and missed Antwerp’s 2-0 away loss at Waregem.

KAAS Eupen suffered a 2-0 home loss to visiting St Truiden. Ghanaian goalkeeper Abdul Manaf Nurudeen warmed the bench for the losers while Samuel Asamoah and Elton Acolatse both played for Truiden.

Midfielder Eric Ocansey scored one of the goals for Kortrijk in their 2-2 draw with KV Oostende.

Defender Samuel Inkoom played full throttle for Dunav Ruse in their 1-1 away draw with Cherno More in the top-flight league on Friday.

Carlos Ohene was dropped to the bench of Beroe in their 2-1 away loss to Etar.

Danish-born Ghanaian forward Danny Amankwaa came off the bench to play for Sonderjyske who held Odense BK to a 0-0 draw.
