Thomas Partey scored the only goal of the game as Ghana recorded an important away victory against Zimbabwe at the National stadium in Harare during the fourth match-day of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification series of the CAF Zone.
The Arsenal midfielder scored from a direct free-kick in the 31st minute as the Black Stars held on to win.
The goal thus represents the 12th target for the former Atletico de Madrid man in the Ghana colors.
Meanwhile South Africa won at home to Ethiopia to claim top spot of the group once again with 10 points as Ghana are second with a point less.
Ghana travel to Ethiopia next in November whilst Bafana Bafana are at home against Zimbabwe.
