Head coach for Ghana’s Black Stars, CK Akonnor has not shy away from revealing how difficult coronavirus has made things for his team ahead of their AFCON Qualifier against Sudan on Thursday.
Speaking to the Ghana FA site, the manager said; “It’s been very difficult to parade the boys based on the fact that we have been hit by COVID-19 and a lot of other issues.
Akonnor, on the other hand also thanked the players who honoured the call up to represent their mother country in the 2022 AFCON Qualifiers.
“To those who managed to come we really appreciate the fact that people like Jordan and others had it but they were the first people to get here and so we can only be proud of them and we are happy, we have a full house now believing that tomorrow we will do well and win the match convincingly.
Ghana takes on Sudan at the Cape Coast stadium today at 4pm in the third round of matches.
