Newly crowned WBO Interim Super Bantamweight champion, Isaac “Royal Storm” Dogboe paid a courtesy call on the King of the Asante Kin, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Magnificent Manhyia Palace as Otumfuo celebrated his first Akwasidae of the year.
The visit was to afford the 23 year old Ghanaian boxer the opportunity to present the Championship belt he won over his Mexican Opponent, Cesar Juarez to Otumfuo and to ask the King to bless him for his future bouts as he seeks to become Ghana’s next World Boxing Champion after great like Azumah Nelson, Ike Quartey and Joshua Clottey.
Dogeb is billed to fight American Jese Magdeleno for the WBO Bantamweight title in March 2018.
