The Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) Director of Communications, Henry Asante Twum, has confirmed that Black Stars head coach Otto Addo is set to unveil his squad for the upcoming international assignments next week.
Speaking in an interview on Akoma 87.9 FM, Mr. Asante Twum hinted that while the core of the national team will remain intact, fans should expect a few new faces in the lineup.
“I know the technical team is considering how to approach this Cup. There will be some fresh additions while keeping the core of the team,” he stated.
His comments suggest a blend of continuity and experimentation as Otto Addo and his technical team prepare the squad for crucial upcoming matches, likely the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Henry Asante Twum also noted that the team’s training plans are already taking shape, with local-based players set to join the camp ahead of their departure.
“Possibly by next week, the coach will announce his team, and if we have local players, they will join the local contingents and move directly to London to begin preparations,” he revealed.
The London camp is expected to serve as a key phase in Ghana’s preparation as the Black Stars aim to bounce back from recent setbacks and build momentum ahead of future competitions.
With growing excitement among fans, all eyes will be on Otto Addo’s squad announcement as Ghana begins a new chapter under his leadership.
