In what could be their last game before being crowned Champion of the Ghana Premier League over a decade, most fans are amazed at the rates of tickets.
Accra Hearts of Oak are in line to be crowned Champions of the Ghana Premier League this Sunday should they win their last game at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium.
The Phobian fraternity are almost certain to break the twelve years jinx as they eye the scalp of the Scientific soccer lads on Sunday. However, the rates announced for the game has infuriated lots of the fans who are in anticipation for their last home game.
Game tickets has surprisingly shot up by more than 100% in the various stands at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium. The popular stand ticket which was going for GHC 10 before the Super Clash has shot up to GHC 40. Lower VIP stand and VVIP are now going for GHC 100 and GHC 150 respectively.
Realistically, this game could have been the “thank you gift” for the fans who have shown massive support for the team by slashing the rates to a very reasonable price every fan could afford. This is a game where Accra Hearts of Oak need all their supporters in numbers to cheer up the team to victory, however, the case where fans are demotivated to throng the Stadium in numbers could possibly affect the morale of the players in winning the game.
Most of the fans have taken to social media to register their displeasure with the rates and are expecting management to intervene as soon as possible.
