Hearts of Oak has announced the signing of former Bibiani Gold Stars defender, Samuel Amofa, on a free transfer.
The 25-year-old center-back passed his mandatory medical on Wednesday morning and has signed a three-year deal with the Phobians.
Amofa joins Hearts of Oak after running out his contract with Gold Stars, where he made 52 appearances over three seasons.
The versatile defender can also operate as a defensive midfielder, providing added depth to the team’s midfield options.
This marks the third signing for Hearts of Oak in the ongoing transfer window, following the arrivals of Michael Awuah Mensah and Asamoah Boateng from Nations FC.
The addition of Amofa is expected to strengthen the team’s defense and provide competition for places in the squad.
