Asante Kotoko SC has formally announced the acquisition of right-back Samuel Asamoah from Bofoakwa Tano FC in the ongoing transfer window.
The 23-year-old completed his move to the Porcupines after successfully passing his mandatory medical assessment on the preceding Friday.
Asamoah has committed to a three-year contract with the Porcupines, solidifying his forthcoming role within the team.
Known for his impressive defensive skills and adeptness in offensive maneuvers from the right wing, Asamoah’s abilities have attracted attention in recent seasons.
His consistent and versatile performances have garnered recognition from scouts and coaches across the nation, largely due to his adaptability and versatility on the field.
Samuel Asamoah played a crucial role in Bofoakwa Tano’s successful promotion to the Ghana Premier League last season, concluding the club’s ten-year stint in the second-tier league.
