Tarkoradi based Prince Norgah on Saturday emerged as winner of this year’s Hunters national Pool tournament at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The event saw over 50 players from the various regions competing for honors.
Norgah exhibited great confidence with some well executed powerful straight shots and good cue ball control as rallied from 0-2 down to beat Accra based Sunday Oke Otome 3-2 .
He took home a glittering trophy,a set of pool board and other attractive prizes.
Speaking after his victory, the 28-year -old attributed his win to hard work and determination.
“It was not an easy game because my opponent was very good”
“But I showed class because i was very determined to win this years event so i thank God for this win”Norgah told Sportsworldghana.com
Meanwhile Nudzor Agbanu the brain behind the event says it has been a successful tournament.
“It has been tough but successful because funding was difficult this year”
“We had the best in the game playing and we have gotten a true winner so for me 2017 has been a tough year but successful”he added.
