Joseph Esso scored 11 goals for Dreams FC in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League before he was sold to MC Alger and when that happened may thought the Dawu-based side were going to struggle in the area of goalscoring.
In their last ten games, Dreams FC have always scored at least a goal even when they have lost a game.
With all honesty , I did not think they would not feel the exit of their best striker of the season. Kotoko is suffering from the sale of Kwame Opoku to USMA. Check their goal-scoring rate since he left and so I thought Dreams would suffer same fate but I was wrong.
Even after Esso left, Dreams are currently the most potent team in the league – 42 goals scored in 29 games. Hearts of Oak are next on 40 goals and for me Dreams FC have done well in that regard.
Likes of Agyenim Boateng , Ali Huzaif , Emmanuel Ocran and co have done very well to make sure Esso is not missed.
