Nations FC, the newly-promoted team in the Ghana Premier League, has made an exciting addition to their squad by signing winger Kwame Boakye from RTU on a free transfer.
The 25-year-old winger has consistently impressed during his time in Tamale since joining in October 2021 from Unity.
Throughout the just-ended season, Boakye continued to shine, making 30 solid appearances in the league for the ‘Wey Una’ outfit, and also contributing with an assist.
Ghanaian football transfer expert Shaban Mohammed confirms that the mercurial winger has caught the attention of the Eagles due to his stellar performance in the previous campaign.
As a result, he has signed a three-year deal with the club after successful negotiations and passing the mandatory medical tests.
As Nations FC enters the Ghanaian top-flight, they are determined to build a formidable team and establish themselves as a strong presence in the country’s premier division.
The acquisition of talented players like Kwame Boakye is a positive step towards achieving their goal of becoming a mainstay in the top division.
