The Black Stars of Ghana were beaten 1-0 by the Atlas Lions of Morocco during an international friendly match played in Rabat.
Jawad El Yamiq scored the only goal of the game in the 69th minute following a set piece incident.
Here are the FOUR major things we learned from the game.
1.Razak Abalora raises doubt again
Still the Kotoko goalkeeper has not kept a clean sheet in the four games that he has played for the Black Stars. Conceded against Sao Tome et Principe as Ghana won 3-1, conceded against South Africa in the 1-1 drawn game during the 2021 AFCON Qualifiers and against Qatar as Ghana won 5-1.
Four games, zero clean sheets is certainly not good. He failed to deal with Hakim Ziyech’s freekick that resulted in the Morocco goal tonight and truth is he should have done better. That was a poor goalkeeping.

2.Hakim Ziyech is quality
Immediately the Chelsea winger entered the game he proved why he plays for the English Premier League side who won the 2021 UEFA Champions League. He first dangerous ball was the freekick delivery that resulted in the Morocco goal. No much words. Ziyech is class.

3.Kudus shines
The Ajax midfielder had a decent game. Whenever he had the ball he made the most out of it as he moved the ball around superbly. Linked the midfield and attack so well and had at least one shot on target.

4.Ghana lack serious firepower up front since the peak of Asamoah Gyan
Jordan is just coming from a season in England where he scored just a goal in more than 30 games for Crystal Palace and against Morocco tonight we did not see anything different from the former Marseille attacker.
This makes one to ponder about the fact that Ghana has not had any absolute top dog striker since the peak of Asamoah Gyan.
Akonnor lined up Jordan, Russia-based Joel Fameyeh and Samuel Owusu in his 4 – 3 -3 formation but they drew blank against the North Africans.
