Ghanaian midfielder, Mohammed Kudus, is set to be benched by the Ajax technical team ahead of their Champions League game against Liverpool on Wednesday.
Kudus has scored nine goals for the Dutch champions so far this season but has not started any of Ajax’s last two matches. The coach has been playing Brian Brobbey in his stead and he has performed well so far.
It is expected that Brobbey will start ahead of Kudus as Ajax hopes to keep their Champions League knockout stage hopes alive.
Ajax lost 2-1 to Liverpool in the first fixture this season.
