Medeama SC, the Ghanaian champions, are leaving no room for complacency in their preparations for the upcoming CAF Champions League campaign.
To bolster their readiness, they have arranged an international friendly against Togolese champions, ASKO de Kara. The friendly match is set to take place at the Cape Coast Stadium on Friday, August 4, 2023.
Medeama SC is fully engaged in their pre-season preparations, gearing up for the 2023-24 football season following their historic triumph in the Ghana Premier League last term.
With an eager desire to defend their domestic title and make their mark in the highly competitive continental competition, the Yellow and Mauves are leaving no stone unturned.
The club has already strengthened their squad with notable signings. Midfielder Godknows Dzakpasu and defender Kamaradini Mamudu have joined the ranks of Medeama SC, providing added depth and strength to the team.
As they gear up for the CAF Champions League, Medeama SC aims to make a strong statement in the tournament. In the first preliminary round, they will face Nigerian side Remo Stars SC. The first leg is scheduled to be held at the Cape Coast Stadium, while the reverse fixture will take place at the Remo Stars stadium in Ogun State, Nigeria.
