Kapor, who had signed a one-year contract with the club in December 2023, leaves after both parties reportedly failed to reach an agreement on a contract extension.
The Bosnian coach’s departure comes amid an inconsistent start to the season for Medeama, who entered the Ghana Premier League as one of the favorites but have struggled with form. Despite sitting just three points off the top with 21 points from 13 games, the team has recorded six wins, four losses, and three draws, leaving their title aspirations in doubt.
While Medeama remains within striking distance of the league leaders, their lack of consistency appears to have led to the mutual decision to part ways with Kapor.
The club has yet to announce a replacement as they aim to regroup and push forward for the remainder of the season.
